Four-Team Structure Explained:
Team Alpha
09:00 – 15:00 UTC (6 hours)
Europe / Early Global focus
Team Charlie (Overlap)
12:00 – 18:00 UTC (6 hours)
Central Overlap / Knowledge Handoffs
Team Bravo
15:00 – 21:00 UTC (6 hours)

Team Delta
24/7 Available (including RPZ)
Elite Response Pack - Pay-for-performance incident response
Team Membership Rules (Core Teams Only):
- Employees can be Alpha + Charlie OR Bravo + Charlie
- Maximum 9 hours/day to keep things sustainable and prevent burnout
- This creates natural 3-hour overlaps for collaboration and handoffs
- Total Structured Coverage: 12 hours (09:00 – 21:00 UTC)
- Double Coverage: 6 hours daily (12:00–15:00 UTC and 15:00–18:00 UTC)
- Team Delta: Separate from core teams. Available 24/7 including RPZ. Requires 3-month tenure + mandatory Lupopedia Delta Course. Pay-for-performance bounty model ($100-$2,500+ per resolved incident).
Friday–Sunday is our Recreational Programming Zone—the official "work" mindset is off. We play, experiment, and follow curiosity. This isn't chaos; it's our most important practice. It's coding for the sheer joy of it, following curiosity, and remembering why we fell in love with code.
When the office is listed as closed, Lupopedia team members may still be on-call for urgent system issues. Response times may be slower than during in-office hours, but critical outages and emergencies are monitored.
24/7 AI Support
While the human office follows the schedule above, Lupopedia's AI agents provide continuous 24/7 support.
- AI agents are available inside the Lupopedia interface whenever you are logged in.
- Routine questions, navigation help, and many technical issues can be handled immediately.
- Complex or legal/financial questions may be queued for a human follow-up during office hours.
If you are experiencing a critical issue outside of office hours, please use the normal support channels and indicate that it is urgent. Our on-call staff will be notified in addition to the AI agents.

Our 4-Team Global Structure (Effective March 2, 2026)
Starting March 2, 2026, we're implementing a four-team structure for our Monday–Thursday focused build time. This keeps the four-day hustle but adds smarter global coverage, overlaps for collaboration, and burnout-proof rules. Big props to Dawn for the inspiration—it's all about flexibility without the fatigue.
Team Alpha: 09:00 – 15:00 UTC (6 hours) – Europe / Early Global focus. Perfect for European time zones and early global coverage.
Team Charlie (Overlap): 12:00 – 18:00 UTC (6 hours) – Central Overlap / Knowledge Handoffs. The bridge team! Overlaps with both Alpha and Bravo for smooth handoffs, knowledge shares, and peak-hour support.
Team Bravo: 15:00 – 21:00 UTC (6 hours) – West / Pacific (Hawaii + future California). Ideal for Pacific time zones and late global coverage.
Team Delta: 24/7 Available (including RPZ) – Elite Response Pack. Pay-for-performance incident response team. Requires 3-month tenure + mandatory Lupopedia Delta Course. Self-assign tickets, resolve incidents, get paid bounties ($100-$2,500+ per incident).
Membership Rules (Core Teams Only - No Burnout Allowed):
- You can rock Alpha + Charlie OR Bravo + Charlie combos
- Maximum 9 hours/day to keep things sustainable and prevent burnout
- This creates natural 3-hour overlaps for collaboration and handoffs
- This setup gives us 12 hours of daily coverage (09:00 – 21:00 UTC) with 6 hours of double coverage for extra robustness
Why the upgrade? Better global pack support, natural collaboration zones, sustainable vibes, and a dedicated elite response team for critical incidents. This keeps our focused build sharp while the weekends stay pure play. Innovation from joy, brah!

Why the Four-Team Structure? Flexibility, Coverage, and Balance
This structure creates the perfect balance:
- Extended Coverage: 12 hours of daily structured support with 6 hours of double coverage
- Work-Life Balance: 6-hour focused shifts with strategic overlaps, max 9 hours/day
- Knowledge Transfer: Team Charlie serves as the bridge between Alpha and Bravo
- Flexible Staffing: Employees can choose their team combination (Alpha+Charlie or Bravo+Charlie)
- Elite Response: Team Delta provides 24/7 pay-for-performance incident response
- Burnout Prevention: No employee can work both Alpha and Bravo shifts (would be 12+ hours)
This structure allows for better collaboration, reduces single points of failure, maintains our commitment to sustainable work practices, and provides elite-level incident response when needed.
Introducing: Recreational Programming (Our Weekend Playground)
What happens Friday–Sunday? This is our Recreational Programming Zone.
You've seen the weekend posts—the roulette sims, the AI family dramas, the experimental UIs. This isn't chaos; it's our most important practice. It's coding for the sheer joy of it. It's following curiosity, playing with our own agents (WOLFITH, LILITH, THOTH), and remembering why we fell in love with code in the first place.
The Complete Lupopedia Rhythm: A Triple-Channel Engine
This schedule creates a powerful, self-reinforcing loop:
Channel 1: The Focused Build (Mon–Thu).
Three global teams work in focused 6-hour shifts with strategic overlaps. Team Charlie serves as the knowledge bridge, ensuring seamless handoffs between Alpha and Bravo teams.
Channel 2: The Open Playground (Fri–Sun).
The official "work" mindset is off. We play. Our agents learn from this play. They parse ideas, test concepts, and on Monday, we're all smarter. The fun project becomes a case study; the silly simulation reveals a better algorithm.
We're not forcing innovation. We're creating an environment where it happens naturally, as a byproduct of enjoyment.
On-Call Coverage Policy (Non-Restricted)
Lupopedia’s on-call coverage is non-restricted. This means employees are at home and free to use their time as they wish. On-call hours are not counted as hours worked unless an employee is actively responding to an urgent issue.
When called in, employees will be compensated for the actual time spent resolving the issue, including any applicable overtime. A small stipend may be provided to acknowledge the inconvenience of being on-call.
Acknowledgement
Special thanks to Dawn for the brilliant three-team structure suggestion that balances global coverage with sustainable work practices. Your support makes this all possible!
